7 real, currently-listed laptops picks under ₹50,000 — ranked by rating weighted against review volume, not just star count. Every link goes straight to the exact Amazon.in listing.
7 laptops in this catalog sit at ₹50,000 or less. Rank is star rating weighted by review count, with a 4.0 floor — a quiet 4.3 with thousands of ratings beats a fresh 5.0 with twenty.
₹50,000 should buy an SSD, enough RAM for Docs and a call, and a screen you can see. HDD at this cap is a false economy.
College machines need ports and battery reviews more than a thin chassis. The ₹60,000–₹75,000 pages are RAM and panel stretches, not a different job.
This list is short on purpose: the 4.0★ floor is why only 7 laptops clear ₹50,000 here. Padding it with weaker ratings would be filler, not a better guide.

Every pick above is priced at ₹50,000 or less and is a real product on Amazon.in. Ranking weighs a product's star rating against how many people actually reviewed it — a 5★ item with a handful of reviews ranks below a 4★ item backed by tens of thousands, since that's a far more reliable signal of real-world quality. Prices shown are indicative; always confirm the final price on Amazon before buying.
